This CD has been a long time coming. It’s arrival is timed to help celebrate the occasion of five hundreds gigs at my home venue - Brian Witty’s ‘The Cellars Bar’ in Scarborough. The recording was made around 11 am in April 2016 in my small cottage living room in Snainton, North Yorkshire and was engineered and produced by David Thompson. All tracks were done in one take - so you get a very honest (if far from perfect) recording, and I’m fine with that. The final three tracks are taken from my first CD ‘I and I’ recorded back in 2001 by Dave Lowe. There was space on the CD, so I just wanted to fill (pad!) it out. This CD also marks the beginning of the end of my being a ‘covers artist’ and the start of a new journey into original music.
